Design of prosthetic foot using additive manufacturing technologies
Lasota, Marek ; Dzimko, Marián (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
Subject of this diploma thesis is a design of a prosthetic foot for an additive manufacturing. It is a dynamic foot made of plastic, designed for an 80 kg patient with a second level of a movement aktivity. From a few concepts is chosen one, which is then optimalized and printed with a MJF method. Functional sample is then undergoing static and cyclic tests according to ISO 10328.
Design of lower-limb prostheses
Koutecký, Tomáš ; Ždímal, Pavel (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to give an overview of the current state of lower limb prostheses after amputation between the hip and the knee. It deals with the human gait, its analysis and with deviations in gait with the prosthesis. It also describes basic division of lower limb prostheses. The main part is the description of these prostheses designs and especially the design of main components and general overview of available types.
Design of stend for testing of prosthetic feet
Švachová, Michaela ; Paloušek, David (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
The Bachelor's Thesis first reviews the general body of knowledge related to biomechanics of gait. The paper also provides definition and classification of a lower leg prosthesis together with a review of the most widely used transtibial prosthesis testing methods. The project also provides description and loading conditions of the main d ynamical a nd s tatical t est o f a lower leg p rosthesis a cording t o E N Č SN 10 328. The paper starts with analyzing the problem and continues with construction solutions complaint with testing requirements. The main output of the project is a 3D model of a test stand design with pneumatic actuator created in Inventor 2013 with related calculations in MathCad 14. The project includes also an assembly drawing, drawings of the welded pieces and drawings of other components.
The options of prosthetic equipment for people with unilateral transfemoral amputation and its impact on their physical capability
Vlková, Barbora ; Šolc, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
TITLE: The options of prosthetic equipment for people with unilateral transfemoral amputation and its impact on their physical capability OBJECTIVES: The aim of the work is to evaluate the effect of the used components of the prosthesis on the activity level of adults with unilateral transfemoral amputation, which are currently available on the domestic market covered by health insurance with deductibles. METHODS: The basis of the analytical part is literary research and data collection of technical data sheets. The second part of the work is qualitative research and contains case studies of five probands. The research group consisted of 5 persons with unilateral transfemoral amputation aged 49-78 years. Unstructured interview and observation methods were used for data collection. RESULTS: The result of the work is a summary of information related to the assembly of different types of TF prostheses for adults and evaluation of the relation between the level of technology used and the quality of the user's life. KEY WORD: unilateral transfemoral amputation, transfemoral prosthesis, physical capability, rehabilitation, prosthetic knee joint, prosthetic foot
